Why does there have to be a console war? I mean all this bickering about who's got the better console - Wii, Xbox 360, PS3... It's all good.

I'm suffering from a severe case of gamingitis. Seriously folks, excessive gaming sessions can ruin your life and I think I stand on the very brink of a very nasty gaming OD.

How to cure this? The answer is simple: you can't.

Believe me, I tried, but there's just no use. In the past month I've played more games than I have for the past two years, which, although extremely fun, also proved to be quite tiring. Need to rest now for a couple of decades. Man, I never thought playing games could be this exhausting

In case you're wondering what I've been playing... well, let's see now: Borderlands, Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2, Torchlight, Machinarium and now Assassin's Creed II.

I'm completely fascinated with the visuals I beheld in some of the latest PS3 and PC titles. Browsing through a new screenshot gallery for the upcoming PS3-only racer Gran Turismo 5, I actually felt my jaw dropping at the sight of some of the high-res car models.

Seriously, guys. This game looks really good.
