Okay, I know I sad Bad Company Eats PCs for breakfast, but as is it turns out, NVIDIA was to blame, because I had installed the infamous 196.75, which caused many serious problems for GeForce graphics card owners all over the world. The drivers caused the cards to overheat and literally break down. As for me, I was cursing the developers of BC 2 (DICE), when I realized I had already installed the new drivers. As soon as I reverted to the previous NVIDIA drivers, the framerate returned to normal.
Just thought y'all should know.
For the past three days I've been fiddling around with the PC version of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and it looks like I'm the only one having severe framerate issues.
God damn it!
I've been reading all the reviews of the PC edition and not one reviewer had the decency to mention you really need a fucking high-end rig to run this thing properly. So, what, now everyone on the planet has a high-end rig? And if games are fucking hardware hogs they don't get bad points for it?
This is bullshit!
